The why and the purpose…..
Flemming Sørensen is CEO and Partner of Nordic-African Consultancy, a Danish based consultancy company operating in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, assisting companies and organisation in how to do business in Africa.
In 2011, Flemming started AFRICA INNOVATION NETWORK as a business network which today is the largest Nordic network with focus on trade, investments and sustainable business in Africa.
Flemming has been involved in many projects and assignments for Nordic companies and organisations with focus on doing business in Africa – and there´s no doubt that Nordic companies can make a huge difference in Africa – especially due to the way Nordic companies;

Key Note Speaker about business in Africa
Flemming has held many talks about how to do business in Africa; including how Nordic companies and organisations do (sustainable) business in Africa, how to start up in Africa, barriers of trade/investment, partnerships, joint ventures. Flemming has held talks in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Austria, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Zambia, Egypt, Morocco, Ethiopia, Mozambique – to mention some. In the next years to come, the focus will be on how to do sustainable business in Africa that comply with UN SDG´s – as well as good governance – and how to do business with public institutions in Africa.
Strategic advice
Flemming has carried out a number of business plans, feasibility studies and strategic advice for Nordic companies and joint ventures scaling up their business in both the Nordics and all around Africa.

Flemming has extensive experience in starting businesses based on his own business for 15 years and being mentor for companies and startups in different sectors, for example within the fashion industry, ICT and the media industry.
